Prayer Vigil

17 hours of prayer

on the 17th

Things in our world may seem to be out of control - the pandemic, Afghanistan, trying to get back to a more normal life - just to name a few. We want to invite our church family to join us in a time of prayer for our world and our church on September 17 as we organize a 17 hour prayer event. More information will be available soon.

October 9

Family fun day

Everyone is invited to join us for Family Day! We will have food, games, a bounce house for the kiddos, music and more. More info to come.

Maskless worship for all who have been vaccinated!

The governor and the CDC have released restrictions for people who have been vaccinated to be in public places without a mask. Following that ruling, if you have been vaccinated feel free to worship with us without a mask on Sunday!

Many waited for the vaccine - it happened!

Some waited for the federal government (CDC) - they are on board!

Some wanted to hear from our governor - he has removed the mandate!

Can't wait to see a bunch of smiling faces on Sunday!

Sunday School is back!

We have classes available for all ages from 9:15 - 10:15 on Sunday mornings!

Wednesday morning study

Join us Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

We meet at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary, social distanced. We are live streaming on the church website and Facebook page. We are currently studying the gospel of Matthew!

Know. Grow. Go.

At New Highland Baptist Church we seek three things -

*To Know - the King of Kings - represented by the royal color purple

*To Grow - in our faith and as a church family

*To Go - into the world and share His love - represented by the color blue, for baptism

We proudly use these colors in our logo and on this website as we seek to follow the Great Commission, found in Matthew 28 -

18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
