Part Time Interim Pastor

New Highland Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia, seeks a qualified part-time Interim Pastor to lead during our search for a permanent Senior Pastor. The position is expected to require 18–20 hours weekly over a period of 6 months to one year.

Specific responsibilities encompass:

  • Preaching and leading worship services, including the celebration of church ordinances.
  • Providing leadership and managing administrative duties related to church operations and staff.
  • Offering guidance to the Pastor search team.
  • As time permits, perform pastoral duties such as visitation, counseling, and providing spiritual comfort to members.

This role requires a dedicated leader capable of fostering spiritual growth and community engagement during a transitional period.
